Codify

This software is supposed to get feed by an CSV-file with codes and text when you are in your companies wifi network from a intranet server.
After it was feeded once with error-explainations, you can use the software without needing any internet connection any more.
You can feed it with e.G.
Error-Codes from a technical system like printers or other machines that give you a short errorcode in case of failure.
The software will display the technican a readable explaination from the known list of codes.
You may add usefull todo's to the explaination to have your technican be good advised what to check or do if he should solve a problem at the customers site device.The current version will read a csv-file that is semikolon seperated with the first column beeing the error-code and the second column (rest to end of the line) will be the displayed message when the technican enters the code.The Error-Codes may contain every possible character including the semicolon.
To ensure a clean import, the fields should get url-encoded.
At last semicolon, percent and linefeed should get urlencoded.
an UTF-8 encoded CSV-file should look like this:code;description0x4000;The+supply+is+powered+on+and+log+file+opened.0x4021;another+error
the first line have to be code;description and nothing else.
for the rest each line should contain a semicolon behind the code.
You may enter anything as code or as description, it should be urlencoded.You may want to avoid difficuilt code sequences e.G.
if all error codes are beginning with 0x000000 you may agree with your employees to enter the code without 0x000000 allways if you change the csv to have codes without 0x000000 at the beginning, too.
